I had a rotten writing session the other day. I won't bore you with the details, but trust me: the wheels were NOT turning.
After I got home, I decided to hike the hill behind our house. (The walk is lined with redwoods that look a lot like the ones here in Miguel Vieira's gorgeous photo of redwood trees in Sequoia National Park.)
As I climbed the hill, I started to mull over the day. Where had things gone wrong? What did I do to "save" it?
My iTouch was in my pocket and I decided to take a risk and share my gleanings with you in "real time." Here it is, the latest (and roughest, but hopefully helpful) "Pocket Tip for Writers: How to Save a Rotten Writing Day."
